Besides the 433 MHz, the 868 MHz and the 2.4 GHz ISM band, also the 5.8 GHz ISM band can be used to transmit data wirelessly without the need for a specialized license.
Since broadband wireless data transmission is becoming increasingly popular, the 2.4GHz band can become overcrowded at some locations, resulting in an unreliable data link.
Our 5.8 GHz module solves this problem and enables wireless UART and USB transmission with a maximum throughput of 150 kbps (continuous) in 1.5Mbps RF bursts.
The RF output power of +15 dBm ensures a range of at least 150 m in the open field.
